General terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Woomax website at www.woomaxsl.com (“Woomax Website”) and mobile application, and your relationship with Woomax (“Woomax”, “we” or “us”). Please read them carefully, as they may affect your rights and obligations under the law. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use the Woomax Website. Employers

If you wish to hire Woomax for the provision of recruitment services, our standard terms and conditions will apply (copy available upon request).

Woomax does not represent or guarantee any of the following:

The existence or availability of any interviews advertised on the Woomax Website; either
The final terms and duration of any interview obtained through the Woomax Website.

Candidates

When you register as a candidate, or when Woomax contacts you by phone or email for a temporary or permanent position, you agree to enter into an Agreement with Woomax that includes participation in the recruitment processes and the receipt of any vacancy alert that may match your profile. The rights and obligations that entail the acceptance of said Agreement are included in these General Terms and Conditions, which you accept at the time of registration, or when you receive it by email once you confirm your interest in being part of our Database. Recruitment services are free for candidates. You can stop being part of this relationship at any time, by contacting us through the contact details described below.

Use of the Woomax Website and/or Portal

We operate the Woomax Website and Portal to help you understand the services we have and to help you communicate with us.

Use of the Woomax Website is for your personal use and is subject to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unable to access all or part of our site or upload your CV, please contact us via this link and we will provide further assistance.

Modifications

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time for legal or regulatory reasons or to allow the proper functioning of the Woomax Website and/or Portal. We will notify you of any changes, including (i) the scope of the changes, (ii) the period to object to them, (iii) the fact that non-opposition will be considered acceptance and (iv) the consequences of opposition.

The changes will be applied once they have been notified.

Your use of the Woomax Website and/or Portal

The user may not use the Woomax Website and Portal for any of the following purposes:

disseminate unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene or otherwise objectionable material or material that violates any law;
transmit material that encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable law, regulation or code of ethics;
interfere with the use or enjoyment of the Woomax Website and Portal by any other person;
make, transmit, or store electronic copies of copyrighted materials without the permission of the owner.

You will be responsible for the losses and costs that we suffer directly due to your breach of this clause.

Registration

You can create an account by registering on the Woomax portal.

This offers you options such as being able to receive an unlimited number of job alerts, the possibility of uploading up to three CVs, etc.

If you register, you must ensure that the details you have provided when registering or at any time are correct and complete.

In order for us to contact you effectively, we ask that you notify us immediately of any changes to the information you provided when registering by updating your personal details.

When registering to use the Woomax portals (My Wootalent and Woojobs) you will be asked to create a password.

In order to prevent fraud, please keep this password confidential and do not disclose or share it with anyone. If you know or suspect that someone else knows your password, you must notify us by immediately contacting Woomax via this link.

If Woomax has reason to believe that a security breach or misuse of the Woomax Portal is likely, we may require you to change your password or we may suspend your account.

Right to suspend or cancel your registration

We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately if you breach any of your obligations under these Terms and Conditions.

You can delete your registration at any time from your own account on the Woomax portal. In addition, you can unsubscribe from receiving commercial communications through the “unsubscribe” link that appears in the last Job Alert email you received, through this link.

The suspension or cancellation of your registration and your right to use the Woomax Portal will not affect the legal rights or responsibilities of any of the parties.

Disclaimer

We cannot guarantee that the service will not be faulty. If there is a failure in the service, please notify us through this link and we will try to correct it as soon as possible. If Woomax is made aware of any inaccuracies in material on the Woomax Website/Portal, we will attempt to correct the inaccuracies as soon as possible.

We may occasionally restrict your access to the Woomax Portal to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new applications or services. We will try to restore service as soon as possible.

Availability of the Woomax Website/Portal

Intellectual property

All information incorporated into the Woomax Portal and Website is owned by or licensed to Woomax. You may retrieve and display the content of the Woomax Website/Portal on a computer screen, store such content electronically on a disk (but not on a server or other network-attached storage device), or print a copy of such content for your personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep intact all copyright and other proprietary notices.

The user may not reproduce, modify, copy, distribute or use for commercial purposes any of the materials or contents of the Woomax Website and Portal without the written permission of Woomax.

Equal Opportunities and Diversity

We may also disclose information about you to law enforcement or regulatory authorities, if required to do so. We may use the information we have collected about you in anonymous form for tracking purposes in connection with our equal opportunity policy. We also reserve the right to pass on information we have collected about you to our professional advisors and others when Woomax engages in any aspect of the operation of its services as a recruitment agency. These third parties will act under confidentiality commitments similar to those of Woomax.

Applicable law

These terms and conditions will be subject to the laws of Equatorial Guinea. We will try to resolve any disagreements quickly and efficiently. If you are not satisfied with the way we resolve any disagreement, and you want to start legal proceedings, you should do so in Equatorial Guinea.

Other provisions

You may not transfer any rights granted by these Terms and Conditions to any other person. We may transfer our rights under these Terms and Conditions to another company where we reasonably believe your rights will not be affected.

If you breach these Terms and Conditions and Woomax chooses not to act, Woomax will still be entitled to use its rights and remedies at any time or event thereafter that you breach the Terms and Conditions.

Woomax shall not be liable for any breach of these Terms and Conditions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

The Woomax Website is owned and operated by Woomax.
